As the Quality Officer, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to converse succinctly with key stakeholders, providing them with accurate information and progress reports on a consistent basis.

About the opportunity:
This is a key role in the business, ensuring quality processes and practices are employed in the analysis of samples and that results meet defined specifications. This role enables synergy between the operational and quality aspects within the laboratory from the initial design of template proformas, through review and approval of documented activities, to finally producing template reports.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, agreeing and producing proforma templates in conjunction with laboratory staff to promote accuracy and consistency of data recording for assigned analytical methods.
- Identifying areas where improvements can be made to current procedures and/or documentation and lead implementation of agreed revisions to working practices.
- Performing routine checking of any data produced within the laboratories of Intertek Melbourn.
- Working closely with their Team Leader and analytical teams in the laboratory, creating report templates for assigned projects to support business requirements.
