Overview
As the Marine Environmental Consultant, you will be undertaking and managing a range of environmental studies, including EIA, SEA and HRA. It will be varied, across a portfolio of projects and sectors including subsea cables, offshore renewables, and oil and gas β ensuing consultancy solutions that are sustainable, as we transition to a low carbon future.
Required skills and experience
- Degree/Masters in a relevant discipline (environmental sciences or similar)
- Skilled in ornithology, underwater sound, marine ecology, marine mammals or fish and shellfish assessments
- Demonstratable project management and client account experience
- Track record of liaison with regulators and other stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience delivering consenting and environmental assessment solutions in the marine energy / industry sectors
- Strong technical, analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- 8+ yearsβ experience in a relevant discipline
- Experience in preparing successful tender submissions
- Experience in mentoring junior consultants
