This self-employed Trade Plate Driver opportunity offers full or part time work with the flexibility to choose 3 consecutive days each week. You will work independently, drive a variety of vehicles and manage your journeys with the support of an experienced logistics team.
You will need access to a driveway or suitable off-road parking space, as you may take a vehicle home in the evening to deliver to the customer the following day. Most drivers travel between vehicle collections and deliveries using trains and buses, with reasonable public transport expenses reimbursed. Others get more creative, using folding bikes or even running parts of their journey to keep fit, reduce waiting time and save money on transport.

As one of our Trade Plate Drivers, you will be provided with vehicle movements for the collection and delivery of new and used vehicles from a range of locations throughout the country, including dealerships, auction sites, compounds, hire companies, businesses and private retail customers. You will be responsible for all aspects of vehicle logistics, including:
- Planning your jobs and journeys
- Completing detailed and accurate vehicle appraisals
- Collecting and delivering vehicles promptly
- Conducting professional customer handovers
- Completing sign-off documentation and supporting paperwork where required Drivers typically complete two vehicle movements per day, equating to approximately ten movements per week.
