- Testing electrical systems for efficiency
- Adhere to regularly scheduled maintenance of electrical devices
- Ensuring a safe working environment
- Cleaning contacts and circuit boards
- Upgrading dated wiring and devices
- Assisting with other tasks related to electronics
- Troubleshooting electrical issues with machinery, systems, fixtures, and more
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be a licensed electrician
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and problem-solve malfunctions
- Work planning and continuous improvement experience would be considered an asset
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and under minimum supervision
- A good sense of risk management
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
