An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Setter Maintainer to join our thriving UK medical manufacturing company to work within our expanding Engineering Department.

We are looking to recruit a Setter Maintainer to form part of a team of four Dual Skill Engineers and four Setter Maintainers, working on a rotating shift pattern. The role will require fault finding, machine setting, machine cleaning, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and installations, and providing mechanical support during breakdowns as required. All work must be completed effectively, with machine downtime being kept to a minimum, and within target expectations, whilst adhering to current Health and Safety Regulations and best practice.

Essential Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an automated production environment
  • Machine setting experience
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety practices

Desirable Experience/Qualifications:

Hours of Work:

4 on, 4 off shift pattern from 1st May (currently operating a 2 on, 2 off shift pattern). From 1st May: 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off (currently operating a 2 days on, 2 days off, 2 nights on, 2 nights off shift pattern). 7:00am - 19:30pm and 19:00pm - 7:30am.
