An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Buildings Project Co-ordinator to join our thriving UK medical manufacturing company to work within our expanding Buildings Department on a 14-month maternity cover contract. Based at our Wokingham Headquarters, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Intersurgical UK's construction projects, including the organisational requirements associated with capital construction projects.

During this period, we will be building a new factory, and the main focus of the role will be managing all building-related activities for this large-scale project. This will involve coordinating construction activities, contractors and relevant staff, as well as planning and organising works to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

The Buildings Project Co-ordinator will ensure that all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations and company procedures, and that appropriate contractor controls are followed. The role will also involve monitoring project budgets and expenditure, purchasing building materials as required and updating 2D CAD drawings, while maintaining a safety-first approach throughout all construction activities.

Essential Experience/Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager or Project Co-ordinator
  • Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • Experience managing construction or building sites
  • Understanding of budget management
  • Project Management qualification
  • Ability to update 2D CAD drawings
