An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Setter Maintainer to join our thriving UK medical manufacturing company to work within our expanding Engineering Department. We are looking to recruit a Setter Maintainer to form part of a team of four Dual Skill Engineers and four Setter Maintainers, working on a rotating shift pattern. The role will require fault finding, machine setting, machine cleaning, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and installations, and providing mechanical support during breakdowns as required. All work must be completed effectively, with machine downtime being kept to a minimum, and within target expectations, whilst adhering to current Health and Safety Regulations and best practice.

Essential Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an automated production environment
  • Machine setting experience
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety practices
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Understanding of working in a controlled environment
  • Ability to manage downtime and priorities
  • Continuous improvement mindset

Desirable Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience of Injection Moulding

Hours of Work:

4 on, 4 off shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off, 7:00am - 19:30pm and 19:00pm - 7:30am.
