We are looking to recruit an experienced Injection Moulding Specialist who will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in injection moulding processes, supporting the successful introduction and transfer of moulding technologies across our global manufacturing sites, and providing technical expertise, training, and process optimisation to ensure high standards of quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
This position will be joining our thriving UK medical device manufacturing company to work within our Group Engineering Department, supporting operations across our global manufacturing sites in the UK, China, USA, and Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within injection moulding operations.
- Support the transfer, validation, and implementation of new moulds, machines, and processes across global manufacturing sites.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and hands on training to engineering and production teams.
- Collaborate with cross functional departments to optimise manufacturing performance and ensure compliance with medical device quality and regulatory standards.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Extensive experience in injection moulding process optimisation.
- Knowledge of Injection Moulding Machine Specification.
- Understanding of thermoplastic materials, process optimisation, injection mould tooling, DFM, FMEA, and validation.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering or equivalent level qualification.
- Experience in mould tool manufacturing (including Master Moulder).
- Experience in medical device manufacturing.
- Experience in blow moulding and extrusion. Mould Flow Analysis.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build good working relationships, negotiate, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask and prioritise workload.
- Decision making, independent and team working.
- Self motivation, willingness to learn, can do attitude.
