Essential Job Summary:
As a New Business Sales Representative specializing in business-to-business sales, you will be at the forefront of acquiring new business and expanding our customer base. Your primary focus will be on prospecting, cold calling, and engaging with potential clients face-to-face to promote and sell waste and recycling services. With lucrative commission potential, this role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and drive revenue growth by securing new accounts.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct daily street-level solicitation of businesses to promote and sell waste and recycling services.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for growth within your assigned Commercial Waste Zone, targeting businesses that require waste management solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with prospective clients.
- Follow up with leads and prospects in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Utilize effective sales techniques and negotiation skills to overcome objections.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team, operations, and customer service departments.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account updates in the CRM system.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in commercial sales, preferably in waste management or a related industry.
