Overview
As HR Administrator, you will oversee all admin tasks and be the first line of contact for our colleagues, ensuring a robust recruitment and retention strategy is implemented within the business. You will oversee payroll for all employees, ensuring remuneration is calculated correctly in line with legal requirements and work with HODs and management to onboard and induct colleagues. Finally, you will ensure all colleague brand training and Health and Safety trainings are up to date and foster a culture of team engagement throughout the business. This role is unlike any other in our hotel and offers development opportunities across working with all other departments. You\’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a first class enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Qualifications
- Excellent organisational skills: In this role, no two days are the same, so you need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills: You should have strong communication skills to interact with employees, managers, and external stakeholders in person, over the phone, and through email.
- Attention to detail: You should have a keen eye for detail to ensure that all employee records, contracts, and paperwork are accurate and up-to-date.
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures: We’re looking for you to have a good understanding of HR policies and procedures, including recruitment, payroll, training, performance management and employee relations to relay decisions to the team and support the management structure at the hotel.
