As Hotel Sales Executive, you will proactively generate and convert new business to support the hotel's revenue and commercial objectives, while managing and growing existing accounts through regular contact and strong relationship building. You will handle sales leads from initial enquiry through to booking confirmation, ensuring a professional and seamless client journey, and organise and deliver site visits, hotel tours, and familiarisation (FAM) trips.
The role involves travelling locally to meet clients, attending networking events, and representing the hotel externally, alongside conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities. You will maintain accurate records of sales activity, leads, and accounts to support forecasting and reporting, work closely with operational teams to ensure a smooth handover of confirmed business, and monitor and report on sales KPIs, pipeline activity, and overall revenue performance.

Strong organisational abilities are essential to manage multiple tasks, prioritise responsibilities, and work efficiently under pressure, while maintaining attention to detail and overseeing budgets and schedules. You should have a customer-focused mindset, able to anticipate client needs, deliver exceptional service, and resolve issues promptly.
Experience in event planning—including logistics, catering, and audio-visual requirements—is highly desirable, along with the ability to stay up to date with hospitality and event trends. Flexibility and a solution-oriented approach are key, allowing you to respond effectively to last-minute requests or unexpected changes.
