What you’ll do
We are looking for a motivated, friendly and chatty care/support worker to provide high-quality care and companionship to a gentleman who lives at home with his daughter.
This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals to live as independently and positively as possible.
The role includes:

Providing 12-hour daytime support and wake night support
-
Providing companionship, conversation and reassurance
-
Supporting with medication
-
Assisting with personal care
-
Providing tracheostomy (trachy) care
-
Promoting and encouraging independence
-
Supporting him to maintain his social life and enjoy outings
-
Accompanying him when spending time with friends and getting out into the community
-
Helping with some light household tasks
Qualifications
What you’ll need:

We're looking for someone who is reliable, caring, motivated and social.
You should enjoy building a genuine rapport with the person you support and be able to encourage him to make his own choices and remain as independent as possible.
Experience with tracheostomy care and complex care would be desirable, along with a willingness to work as part of a supportive team.

- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
