Due to a recently awarded framework, a leading design and build contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in East Sussex. The business delivers civil engineering, MEICA, M&E, process, and infrastructure schemes across Sussex and Kent, working predominantly within the water utilities sector. Current projects include reservoir refurbishments, pumping station upgrades, automation systems, and environmental protection works, with values typically ranging from £500K to £8M.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role across both pre-contract and post-contract stages, supporting the successful commercial delivery of multiple infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting tenders and pricing activities
- Subcontractor procurement and supply chain management
- Monthly valuations, cost reporting, and forecasting
- Preparation and management of CVRs
- Change control and variations under NEC contracts
