A well-established infrastructure delivery business is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support the delivery of essential utility projects across the region. This position will involve overseeing a portfolio of civil engineering works focused on pipeline replacement and network improvements. The successful candidate will play a central role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
You will take ownership of multiple live sites, coordinating teams, subcontractors, and resources while maintaining a strong focus on operational performance and compliance.
What you'll be doing:
- Overseeing day-to-day delivery of infrastructure works across several project locations
- Supporting the planning and setup of new schemes, from initial enquiry through to mobilisation
- Monitoring progress against deadlines and adjusting plans to keep delivery on track
- Collaborating with planning teams to manage schedules, risks, and dependencies
- Leading site teams and supervisors, ensuring a consistent focus on safety and quality
- Ensuring all activities meet industry regulations, health & safety legislation, and environmental standards
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers to achieve efficient and high-quality outputs
- Identifying potential risks early and implementing practical solutions
- Producing regular updates on project performance, including financial and operational metrics

What we're looking for:
You’ll have a solid background in utilities or civil engineering, with hands-on experience delivering infrastructure or pipeline-related projects. Experience working within regulated environments will be highly beneficial. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple workstreams, leading teams, and making decisions under pressure. A strong understanding of programme management and site operations is essential.
