A Tier 1 civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint a Managing Quantity Surveyor following the successful award of new work valued at approximately £100M per annum. The Role
Initially reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of a £30M workstream, leading and developing a team of five Quantity Surveyors. The project portfolio consists of major utility and infrastructure schemes, administered under NEC contracts. You will work closely with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure strong commercial control and successful project delivery.

- A BSc degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
- Strong experience working within UK civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities
- Strong NEC contract knowledge and experience
- Proven commercial management and cost control experience
- Experience with CVRs, forecasting, change management and subcontract procurement
- The ability to manage and develop junior commercial staff
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A stable career history with a clear desire to progress
