Job Description Astute's Power team is partnering with leading Waste Management Company a to recruit a Commercial Manager on a Deposit Return Scheme across multiple projects in England. \ N Location: Hybrid - UK wide \ N Employment: Permanent or Contract \ N Salary: £50,000-£60,000 \ N Contract Rate: Approximately £400-£500/day, Inside IR35 \ N Benefits: Private healthcare + car allowance/bonus package for permanent appointment \ N Start: ASAP \ N Project Duration: 15 years \ N Key skills \n \n Provide commercial and quantity surveying support across the DRS programme. \ N Manage commercial performance across multiple projects and work packages. \ N Prepare, review and manage budgets, forecasts and cost reports. \ N Manage contractor valuations, applications, variations and change control. \ N Support procurement andcontract management activities. \ N Monitor project costs against agreed budgets and programmes. \ N Manage commercial risksand identify opportunities for cost savings. \ N Support the Project Managers with commercial advice and reporting. \ N Review contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met. \ N Support the delivery ofsmall works and larger infrastructure upgrade packages. \ N Provide commercial input throughout project mobilisation, delivery and handover. \ N \n \n Location,remuneration and timeframe of the Commercial Manager role \ N \n WFH with travel to sites \ N \n Astute People areacting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
