Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description An established and highly respected consultancy that has enjoyed 25 % growth annually is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to complement their team .As the business continues with its planned expansion, this presents a genuine opportunity to progress to the Director level and achieve equity shares.The company work across the rail, water and highways sectors and delivers projects ranging from £10M- £80M each.Projects are Brighton-based, flexible working is on offer with 2-3 days per week allowed to work from home, as is support towards achieving Chartered status. The RoleTo manage a team of Quantity Surveyors, at various levels in fulfilling their roles.Providing reports to the client\’s senior management on the costs associated with a wide variety of projects, which are being cost-managed by their team.Advising and approving cost analysis for repair and maintenance project workEstablishing a clients requirements and undertaking feasibility studiesPerforming risk and value management and cost controlAdvising on procurement strategyManaging and advising on the tendering process, including checking and approving tender and contract documents,Ensuring the preparation of monthly cost/profit forecasts is carried out.Providing advice and support to the team when agreeing with the contractor, suitable subcontractors to work on projects;Advising and providing support to the Claims Manager on potential cont…
