My client, a leading utilities contractor, is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a long-term water framework. This role sits within a high-performing commercial team and focuses on cost control, commercial reporting and subcontractor management across high-volume works.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with utilities, civils or water industry experience looking for stability, long-term frameworks and career progression.
Key Responsibilities- Weekly cost & value / CVR reporting
- Pricing and valuing high-volume, low-value works
- Preparing and managing Schedules of Rates
- Subcontractor cost reconciliation and payment certificates
- Managing daily completed works submissions
- Monitoring progress, variations and scope changes
- Attending WIP meetings with operations and clients
- Supporting commercial performance and profitability
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within utilities, civils or water
- Experience working on high-volume frameworks
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
- Subcontractor management experience
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP)
- Proactive, commercially aware and detail focused
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- OR HNC/HND in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- £45,000 - £55,000 salary
