Join a major infrastructure project in Hampshire and gain hands-on experience managing commercial and contractual activities across exciting civil engineering works. This role is ideal for a QS with some NEC contract experience who is ambitious to grow into a Senior Quantity Surveyor role. This opportunity offers 12 years of guaranteed projects in Kent.
What Youll Do
- Support commercial management of civil engineering and infrastructure projects
- Assist in preparing valuations, applications for payment, and monthly cost reports
- Help manage variations, change control, and extensions of time
- Support subcontractor management and tendering processes
- Provide contractual guidance to project and site teams
- Contribute to effective cost control and financial management throughout the project
Youll work across site, office, and home, giving you a well-rounded experience of a live infrastructure project.
Skills & Experience Were Looking For
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Some NEC3 / NEC4 contract experience
- Solid understanding of cost reporting, valuations, and commercial management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying (RICS or CICES accredited)
- Working towards chartered status is a plus
