We are a Tier 1 main contractor joint venture delivering some of the most ambitious energy, power and high-voltage infrastructure projects in the South of England. As our Quality Manager, you won’t just oversee processes; you’ll shape how critical national infrastructure is delivered. You’ll be the voice of excellence, the driver of improvement and the leader who ensures every asset we build stands the test of time. This is where your expertise becomes impact.
What You’ll Lead:
- Set the gold standard for quality excellence across major energy and HV projects.
- Own and evolve our ISO9001-aligned Quality Management System, ensuring it drives performance, not paperwork.
- Lead a powerful audit and improvement programme that strengthens product quality, supplier performance and construction delivery.
- Turn data and insights into meaningful action influencing decisions at every level.
- Build strong partnerships with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure every project is delivered right first time.
- Lead internal and external audits with confidence and authority.
- Present monthly insights to senior leadership, shaping strategy and driving improvement.
- Mentor and develop the Quality Advisor, helping them grow into a future leader.
Experience Required:
- Experience in quality management within energy, power, HV, substation, grid or major infrastructure projects.
- ISO9001 Internal Auditor qualification (IRCA preferred).
- A sharp analytical mind and the confidence to influence decisions.
- Strong communication skills; you know how to bring people with you.
- Ability to write clear, compelling procedures and training materials.
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Willingness to travel across the region to stay close to the work that matters.
- Strong digital literacy and a full UK driving licence.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in a quality-related discipline.
- ISO9001 Auditor (Lead Auditor preferred).
- Membership of a recognised quality professional body.
