A leading Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team delivering water infrastructure and utilities projects in the South East.
This Senior QS role offers long-term work within a major water sector framework, managing civil engineering and infrastructure projects under NEC contracts. The position is hybrid, with 12 days office-based.
Role OverviewReporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- Manage commercial delivery and cost control across multiple projects
- Lead subcontract procurement, agreements, and NEC contract administration
- Implement value engineering, cash flow management, and margin improvement plans
- Support client management, tender submissions, and PQQ responses
- Negotiate and agree final accounts
- BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS in civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or water sector projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3 / NEC4)
- Proven experience in cost control, subcontract procurement, and change management
- Work on major civil engineering & water infrastructure projects
