A major civil engineering and water contractor is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a new trunk water main project valued at £15M. The project has a minimum of two years to run and is administered under NEC terms and conditions. This Senior Quantity Surveyor is a hybrid working role and will be based in Oxfordshire or Berkshire two days per week.
The Role
- Reporting to the Commercial Manager, responsibilities include the full range of post-contract duties including:
- Cost Reporting
- Budgetary Management
- Working with the Project Manager to identify risks and opportunities in the sub programme
- Management of supplier and sub-contractor accounts
- Provide leadership and support to junior members of the Quantity Surveying team.
Experience Required
- Suitable applicants will be educated in BSc Quantity Surveying or similar.
- You will be able to demonstrate a stable career history working for recognised contractors on civil engineering, infrastructure, or utility contracts.
- You will have a thorough working knowledge of NEC contracts.
