A leading civil engineering principal contractor has an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on HS2. The HS2 Main Civils Contracts include both Lots S1 (Euston Tunnels & Approaches) and S2 (Northolt Tunnels). Scope of works: the main works include twin-bored tunnels (TBM driven), SCL tunnels/adits, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, utilities diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial delivery of major utility diversions along the HS2 route from London Euston to the West. You will provide support to the commercial team, helping to ensure that all contracts are run as commercially efficiently as possible. The role will also involve a great deal of client-facing interaction.
