Interrupt the Routine (ITR) has been around for well over a decade. We have quiz hosts who have been working with us for years, but we need to expand as we’re growing. The challenge is to host effectively in a live situation.

ITR founder Rob Blackwood will be leading a training session on Monday 15th June from 12noon-3pm to start finding new hosts for the autumn/winter season.

We want people who are:

  • Open to feedback.
  • Comfortable (or on the way to) leading large groups of people.
  • Have a good/high level of vocal training.
  • Can sight-read well and deliver questions with clarity and energy.
  • Committed to things they sign up for.

Once you are working for us, it's about representing the company, gaining experience and developing a skillset that is transferable to so much other work. Many of our hosts are actors, but we also have hosts who work in healthcare, social care, the financial sector, theme parks and are in full-time study. All of them get joy from delivering a high-quality live event and are looking to develop and keep learning.

If this describes you, email details to Sarah (please take the time to tell us what experience you have and why you want to get involved: we have limited spots so will only consider you if you do this).
