A unique opportunity to launch your career in offensive security, developing your skills alongside some of the most experienced researchers in the industry.
The role:
- Receive instructor‑led (in person) and self‑led (remote) training to develop core skills in reverse engineering and vulnerability research.
- Gain experience working alongside Interrupt Labs' researchers on real projects, allowing you to further develop your skills with their support and guidance.
- Examples of projects may include: reverse engineering complex malware samples, creating bespoke fuzzing implementations, finding vulnerabilities in open‑source software.
Programme runs between 6th July and 28th August 2026 (8 weeks).
The ideal candidate:
- Passionate about vulnerability research with a basic understanding of this area.
- Interested in understanding the low‑level programming of hardware and software.
- Knowledge of reverse engineering complex systems like Android, iOS, or Embedded Systems is desirable.
- Going into penultimate or final year of university (typically seen as the 2nd or 3rd year of undergraduate studies, or the final year of a postgraduate degree).
- Eligible to hold SC level UK Security Clearance (National security vetting: clearance levels - GOV.UK).
