Role Overview: As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support analytics and reporting needs. You will work with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and other Azure data services to build robust and scalable BI solutions, ensuring high-quality data visualisation and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services.
  • Develop and optimise Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualisations.
  • Implement ETL processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Develop and manage data pipelines and dataflows using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency through effective database management and data cleansing techniques.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot data issues using data lineage and other analytical tools.
  • Implement and optimise data models to support analytical and reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Essential: Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including hands-on experience with data pipelines and dataflows.
  • Excellent SQL knowledge.
  • Solid experience in database design, management, data integrity, and data cleansing.
  • Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes.
  • Strong practical understanding of Power BI and Azure data services.
  • Experience in data analysis, troubleshooting, and working with data lineage.
  • Knowledge in data modelling and related tools.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with other cloud data platforms.
  • Exposure to machine learning or AI-based data processing.
