A growing digital financial services organisation is looking for a detail-driven Governance & Administration Assistant to support its senior governance and compliance processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives behind the scenes, ensuring key meetings run smoothly, records are accurate, and regulatory frameworks (like SMCR ) are well managed. What you’ll be doing: Coordinating Executive Committee (ExCo) and other governance meetings — from scheduling to agenda prep, collating packs, and taking clear, proportionate minutes Managing action logs and follow-ups to ensure nothing falls through the cracks Supporting the administration of the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR) — keeping documentation up to date, chasing actions, and liaising with senior stakeholders Helping maintain board software (e.g., Diligent Boards) and supporting internal audits and workshops Occasionally helping administer the company’s training platform and wider business processes ✅ What we’re looking for: Experience supporting Board/Executive-level meetings and producing high-quality minutes Ideally, experience in financial services or another regulated industry Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines Tech-savvy — comfortable with MS Office, Google Suite, and ideally board portals like Diligent Discreet, professional, and highly organised with great communication skills41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
