InterQuest have partnered with a London based international bank in search of an influential Financial Crime Director.
The bank are currently expanding into further parts of Europe and now have their sights on US expansion.

- You will execute your strategy in how you build a scalable international Financial Crime infrastructure proportionate to the bank’s ambition
- Lead, develop and structure a sizable team across all areas of Financial Crime
- Make an impact in the COO function having worked in the first and/ or second line
- Work with, challenge and influence key decision-making stakeholders as well as your leadership peers to shape the structure and strategy of the bank from a Financial Crime perspective
- Work with an exemplary and forward-thinking COO to achieve the banks ambitious growth plans that already promotes GRC functions as part of their strategy
What we expect from you
- You are a true hands-on Financial Crime leader e.g. MLRO/ Financial Crime Operations
- Experienced in scaling Financial Crime functions in a scale-up / FinTech or other highly regulated environments e.g. Gaming or Payments
- People leader, developer and mentor that fosters respect;
- ExCo / stakeholder influencer, who will bring the business along the journey
- Bring energy and commitment to the function/ banks growth, ambition and success
Hybrid: 1-2 days in London
£160/ £190,000 fixed plus bonus and benefits
We are looking for the right individual, not necessarily a banker. If you are an experienced Financial Crime Leader, that has not worked in Financial Services but have worked in another highly regulated sector (e.g. Gaming), you are encouraged to apply.
