InterQuest are leading the search in identifying a Cyber Security Manager
The rolewill work alongside the \”Head of\” to carry out the organization’s cybersecurity and data protection initiatives. This role is responsible for managing daily cybersecurity operations, implementing protective measures, and ensuring the security of information assets. The individual will be key in detecting, addressing, and mitigating security threats, protecting the firm from cyber risks.
You will implement Cyber Security strategy to keep the organization’s security measures up-to-date with evolving cyber threats, while overseeing the Cyber Security Team’s daily activities to ensure the controls are functioning effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of the Security Operations Center (SOC) to ensure continuous monitoring and detection of security incidents.
- Execute Cyber Securitystrategy to ensure Cyber Security controlsare matured and adequately designed to meet present and future cyber threats.
- Develop and enforce Cyber Security policies, processes, procedures and standards
Critical knowledge required
- Good understanding of Cybersecurity standards and frameworks, e.g.: ISO 27001 and 27002, NIST, CIS, OSA, OWASP, SANS, COBIT
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure and its technologies
- Ability to write and enforce Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Experience of working with cloud technologies
