Job Title: Commercial Manager โ PAYG & Distribution
Contract: 4 months (high chance of extension)
Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)
The Role
Weโre looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to shape and deliver a compelling PAYG proposition while driving growth through third-party retail and distribution partnerships.
This role combines proposition development with hands-on channel management. Youโll take ownership of identifying, onboarding, and managing third-party partners, building commercial agreements, and driving performance through effective trading strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a PAYG proposition tailored to core sales channels.
- Design and implement a third-party distribution strategy to expand market presence.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market mapping to identify new opportunities.
- Identify, onboard, and manage third-party distributors and retail partners.
- Lead all PAYG commercial discussions, negotiations, and escalations.
- Negotiate trading terms, pricing structures, and commercial agreements.
- Implement trading strategies to maximise SIM activations and profitability.
- Provide partners with the necessary training, marketing support, and sales tools.
- Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and proposition teams to align stock, campaigns, and go-to-market plans.
- Monitor performance data, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Manage a trading budget to support partner growth and initiatives.
About You
- Proven experience in PAYG / prepaid mobile products (essential).
- Strong track record of managing and growing third-party retail and distribution partnerships.
- Commercially strong, with experience in negotiating contracts, pricing, and trading terms.
- Experience in launching and scaling new partnerships from concept to execution.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical, data-driven, and comfortable making decisions based on performance metrics.
- Knowledge of the UK telecoms distributor/wholesale market.
- Familiarity with telecoms compliance requirements (Ofcom, GDPR, SIM registration).
- Understanding of large retail environments and digital/omnichannel strategies.
