InterQuest are supporting a London based SME lender with the search for a Collections Agent to join on a part-time basis. This will be a 20 hour week role. You will be helping to manage overdue accounts while maintaining positive relationships with our clients. What You’ll Do: Handle a portfolio of overdue accounts, proactively following up with clients to resolve payment issues. Reach out to businesses to discuss outstanding payments, providing professional, empathetic, and clear communication. Work with clients to establish fair repayment plans and ensure timely resolution. Keep accurate records of all interactions, agreements, and payments using our collections system. Address disputes and challenges, offering practical solutions to clients’ financial concerns. Work closely with internal teams to resolve complex cases and ensure compliance with relevant policies. What We’re Looking For: At least 2 years of collections experience, ideally within the financial services or lending sector (experience with SME lending is a plus). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage and empathize with clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using collections software or CRM systems. This role is ideal for someone returning to work following a break and requires flexibility.
