Great opportunity for a Senior Salesforce Engineer to join one of the UKs most recognisable tech brands. As the Senior Salesforce Engineer you will focus on building, maintaining and supporting systems and applications through building APIs and collating data using Salesforce, all whilst acting as the Senior within a small team and being that 'go-to' person for advice and mentoring.
Responsibilities:
- Have a hands-on approach to software engineering by the implementation and maintenance of applications and services daily
- Communicate across the business with both technical and non-technical members of staff
- Be involved in communities of practice to share best practices within Salesforce development, knowledge and skills
- Support colleagues in their own career development through coaching and mentorship
- Be on hand to solve technical problems when they arise
Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive background in Software Engineering with a demonstrated background and interest in Salesforce development
- Previous experience building Apex classes (synchronous and asynchronous) whilst also building and maintaining APIs (standard and custom)
- Proven demonstration of tooling and practices for the build, integration and deployment of automated builds all whilst working towards a set end goal
- A great understanding of test-driven development
- Proven expertise with writing Apex test classes
- Excellent people leadership skills
