ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a proactive, thoughtful People Advisor who cares about the employee experience and enjoys helping managers navigate people matters with confidence.

Working closely with the People Partner and wider People team, you'll support your agency across the employee lifecycle.

You'll combine practical advice with strong organisation, sound judgement and attention to detail, taking ownership of day-to-day matters and recognising when more complex issues need additional support.

You'll get to know the business and its people, build trusted relationships and help us deliver a consistent, fair and responsive People service.

As part of a small, collaborative team, you'll be comfortable moving between employee conversations, manager advice, processes, data and projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Be a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, providing clear, practical advice on policies, processes and everyday people matters.
  • Manage employee relations cases within your remit, including performance, absence, probation and flexible working, working closely with the People Business Partner and ER team on more complex matters.
  • Support employees and managers through key moments, including onboarding, parental leave, role changes and exits, ensuring a positive experience and timely follow-through.
  • Help managers build confidence in setting expectations, giving feedback and managing performance fairly and consistently.
  • Coordinate key People processes, including recruitment approvals, pay reviews and performance cycles, working with specialist teams to keep things moving.
  • Maintain accurate People data, identify useful themes and insights, and ensure changes are communicated promptly to People Operations and payroll.
  • Contribute to initiatives across development, wellbeing, inclusion and engagement, suggesting practical improvements to how we work.

ABOUT YOU

You have experience in a People or HR role and want to develop into people partnering.

You're approachable, curious and solutions-focused, with the confidence to offer advice, ask questions and have sensitive conversations.

You take ownership and follow things through.

You can balance competing priorities, keep track of the detail and communicate clearly so people know what happens next.

You understand employment law and fair process, handle confidential information carefully and know when to seek support.

You enjoy working closely with others, share what you learn and are interested in understanding the business you support.

Above all, you bring care, good judgement and a willingness to get involved.

To the extent permissible by local law, Omnic's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
