We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester to join our web QA team.
QA is a small function currently working with the web development team.
We are relatively new to automation having just on boarded the Virtuoso tool.
We are looking for someone with a desire to own and further grow our automation goals.
Responsibilities
Maintain and grow the current automation framework
Continuously evaluate and enhance test automation processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Supports the implementation of automation and management tools.
Create test cases within the tool to support regression testing using risk-based approaches.
Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to design appropriate test scenarios based on requirements.
Support/mentor other team members in the creation of test cases and executions.
Provide reporting to testing team leader/head of testing on the results/outcomes of executions.
Effectively log and manage defects.
Collaborate with our development team on test planning and infrastructure.
Support manual testing during peak periods and for high priority projects.
Skills
Understanding of automation frameworks and processes.
Ability to plan and execute their own work.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving.
Good organisation to meet deadlines/delivery timescales.
Flexibility/adaptability to be able to move between differenttasks or projects as well as adapting to new changes in technology or processes.
