This is a role that dreams are made of. We have an opportunity for a dynamic, driven Junior Marketing Assistant to join the events marketing team on a permanent, full-time position. You will be creating and executing an events marketing strategy across a wide variety of industries. To be successful in this role you will need to be creative and dedicated to continually learning and evolving your skill set. Your job focus will be to develop event marketing strategies that drive engagement, grow entries and attendance.
Core responsibilities:
- You will be supporting a portfolio of prestigious awards schemes, conferences and digital events to grow entries, attendance and engagement.
- Create, manage, and analyse online and print marketing campaigns.
- Drive interest, registrations, entries and attendance to our live and virtual events.
- Design campaign materials utilising Adobe applications or Canva and collaborate with our publication team to create fresh ideas. This includes emails, banners, print adverts and general promotional materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external teams and clients.
- Produce high quality event material in print and digital formats (e.g. online graphics, tickets, brochures, pop-ups, and sponsored material).
Experience and skills:
This role would suit a junior candidate - where training will be given. Candidates with a recent marketing/media studies degree or relevant experience would be advantageous. The successful candidate will have a great eye for detail, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, work well in a team and have the confidence to take responsibility when required. The following skill set are beneficial but not essential:
- Fantastic organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship building skills
- Experience of creating graphics
- Knowledge of email marketing
- Excellent written English and copywriting skills
- Social media marketing
- Experience in Canva, Adobe and Email Marketing platforms highly beneficial
