Due to continued and exciting growth, we are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Account Executive to join the Commercial Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, driven individual looking to develop their commercial career within a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting customer relationships, driving performance, and ensuring the highest standards of service are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day to day queries regarding orders, availability, pricing and delivery times.
- Support the commercial team with sales administration duties and customer requirements.
- Update customer forecasts and monitor customers order patterns.
- Attend daily internal meeting with the operations team.
- Receive feedback on customers’ orders and update the planning team with details and purchase orders.
- Liaise with the ripening team to validate issues.
- Arrange for customers credit notes and replacements or returns when necessary.
- Build trust and relationships by providing consistent communication and quick responses.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a commercially focused position, within fresh produce.
- Some experience of category management.
- Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with a natural flair for building rapport.
- Confident using IT software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Numerate and analytical.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and develop within the commercial function.
