Interpath Advisory provides critical financial advisory and restructuring services to clients globally and locally. We have a growing international presence and currently have 30 locations across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Caribbean. Interpath is excited to offer an internship opportunity for motivated individuals to join our dynamic team, gain practical experience in the financial advisory sector and restructuring services, and develop essential skills for building a successful career in the finance industry.

As an Intern at Interpath, you will have the chance to support our consultants across various sectors, gaining valuable insights, developing a broad commercial awareness, and understanding the challenges facing businesses today. Our internship programme is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, allowing you to contribute to real projects, gather structured feedback, and learn from experienced professionals. A mentor will be assigned to you to provide continuous support, guidance, and advice throughout.

Specific financial or restructuring experience either in education or prior work experience is not a requirement for the role nor will preference be shown to candidates who have such experience. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate they can engage with our clients, take pride in their work, and communicate in a professional, commercial manner. Successful candidates who demonstrate potential to excel, hard work, and fit our company values over the course of the program will be considered for our 2027 Graduate intake.

Key Accountabilities

  • This internship offers a unique opportunity to understand the nuances of the financial advisory landscape and develop your professional network.
  • You will be working alongside a highly experienced team and will have the opportunity to work on some of the country's most high-profile businesses and understand the lifecycle of a business in stress/distress.

Internship Tasks

  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and financial analyses for ongoing projects.
  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders across a variety of sectors.
  • Contribute to other client-related tasks under the supervision of senior staff.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, take notes, and summarise action items.
  • Support team members in data gathering and research for targeting initiatives.
  • Build a network with team members across grades.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree, on track to graduate Summer 2027.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrates interest in consultancy and financial services.
