We are growing our Legal capability and are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Employment Lawyer to join our UK team at the Associate Director level. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, advisory-led environment where legal expertise, commercial thinking and people insight come together to solve complex workforce and organisational challenges. You will advise on a broad range of UK and international contentious and non-contentious employment matters, partnering closely with senior stakeholders and HR teams across jurisdictions that Interpath operates in. The role offers exposure to strategic corporate development projects, acquisitions & transactions and high-profile employee relations matters within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
ResponsibilitiesThis role will support strategic growth opportunities including acquisitions, senior level hiring and new market entries. They will identify and manage employment, regulatory and reputational risks, ensuring advice is legally robust and aligned to best practice, while providing pragmatic employment law advice across a range of employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, workplace disputes and exits. The role will also instruct and manage external legal counsel across all employment related matters.
RequirementsEducation and Experience Required: Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales or Scotland with approximately 5+ years PQE in employment law. Experience gained in private practice, in-house or a professional services/advisory environment. Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of UK employment law matters including employee relations, acquisitions, restructures and litigation. Experience supporting workforce change projects, transactions or organisational transformation activity. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at senior level. A pragmatic and commercial mindset with strong problem-solving capability. The ability to manage and prioritise multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative and entrepreneurial approach with a genuine interest in building relationships and contributing to growth.
