Responsibilities

  • Supporting the management of contentious insolvency matters, including assessments of shareholder disputes, fraudulent conveyances, and misfeasance claims.
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis to inform case strategy and evaluating the implications of financial and legal data.
  • Assisting in the preparation of documentation and presentations for client meetings and court proceedings.
  • Collaborating with senior teams to develop insights that guide our clients through complex insolvency processes.
  • Engaging with various stakeholders, including clients, legal counsel, and creditors, to facilitate effective communication and resolution.
  • Staying abreast of regulatory changes and legal developments impacting contentious insolvency.

This role is designed for individuals looking to gain a foothold in the finance and legal sectors while working within a supportive and challenging environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) in law, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail in financial and legal matters.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, displaying effective interpersonal skills.

Location: Although this role is aligned to a specific office, it forms part of a national team. Your primary office location will be the office you applied to; however, travel may be required in line with business needs.
