An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Communications team for an individual with 3‑5 years of experience in internal communications and media relations. The role demands a proactive, flexible approach and a proven ability to deliver cross‑communication campaigns.

Key accountabilities

  • Support the wider communications team in delivering internal communications activities across the business, including drafting and publishing newsletters and staff notices, facilitating town‑hall events (both in‑person and virtual), podcasts and videos.
  • Drive positive media coverage for Interpath by working closely with marketing and our external communications agencies to build the Interpath brand in line with the firm\’s 2030 strategy.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with members of the media.
  • Draft a variety of written copy for internal and external use, including newsletters, press releases, opinion articles and blogs.
  • Report on and measure communications activity to inform future strategy.

Requirements

  • Degree‑level education.
  • Membership of professional bodies such as CIPR is welcome but not essential.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in internal communications, PR, external communications, or a cross‑communication role.
  • Experience in professional services is welcome but not essential.
  • Track record of creating impactful internal and external communications campaigns linked to a long‑term commercial strategy.
  • Established media network.
  • Experience delivering campaigns via social media channels.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to draft copy for different channels and audiences.
  • Ability to scan news agendas and spot opportunities for the firm to comment in alignment with our commercial agenda.
  • Strong reporting, monitoring and analytical skills to plan future activity.
