As part of the continued growth of our Value Creation practice, we are seeking an experienced Director, Digital Transformation Advisory to join a newly established Digital Transformation team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape and build Interpath’s digital transformation capability alongside the Managing Director, while leading high-impact client engagements across a wide range of industries, geographies, and transaction situations.

You will work with both regulated and non-regulated businesses, supporting clients through complex technology-enabled transformations, M&A activities, operating model changes, and strategic technology initiatives.

  • Key Accountabilities
  • Act as a key member of Interpath’s Data & Technology team, supporting the Managing Director in building and expanding the practice.
  • Lead business development activities by identifying new opportunities, building C-suite relationships, leveraging an established professional network, leading strategic pursuits, and developing high-quality client proposals, pitch materials, and executive presentations.
  • Lead and deliver complex digital transformation engagements across multiple industries and international markets.
  • Manage large-scale, multidisciplinary technology programmes, ensuring successful delivery against agreed timelines, budgets, and objectives.
  • Serve as the primary interface between technology and business stakeholders, translating complex technical topics into clear, actionable business insights and recommendations.

Lead client engagements across a broad range of technology and transformation topics, including:

  • Strategic planning, business case development, and technology strategy.
  • Operating model design, application and enterprise architecture.
  • Technology due diligence, carve-outs, separations, integrations, and data migrations.
  • Data management, cybersecurity, operational resilience, IT risk, and technology governance.
  • Lead steering committees, executive workshops, and Board-level presentations.
  • Identify the root causes of complex technology and organisational challenges, developing pragmatic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, colleagues, and third-party providers to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and develop high-performing teams while contributing to practice growth, capability development, and thought leadership.

Requirements

  • Strong business development and sales track record, with the ability to originate, shape, and win new opportunities, build C-suite relationships, grow strategic accounts, and contribute to practice growth through an established professional network.
  • Extensive management consulting experience leading digital transformation and technology advisory engagements within consulting, advisory, or professional services environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary transformation programmes across multiple sectors, with experience beyond financial services.
  • Broad expertise across technology strategy, operating models, enterprise architecture, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, AI, and M&A-related technology activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combining strategic thinking with pragmatic, commercially focused recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative leadership style with proven experience building, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
