We are seeking a talented and passionate People Operations Manager to oversee People Operations across the UK, Ireland, BVI, Cayman Islands and Bermuda. This individual will play a key role in shaping and delivering a high‑quality, scalable People Operations function across multiple jurisdictions. As the People Operations Manager you will have end‑to‑end responsibility for People operations, ensuring excellence across employee lifecycle processes, regulatory compliance, HR systems, data governance, payroll coordination, benefits administration and vendor management. This role will also lead a regional People Operations team consisting of an Assistant Manager, two Senior Associates and one Analyst.
Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Lead People Operations across the UK, Ireland, BVI, Cayman and Bermuda, ensuring an efficient, high‑quality service aligned to SLAs and KPIs. Develop and coach the regional team, driving performance, accountability and continuous improvement. Oversee consistent, compliant joiner, mover and leaver processes across all jurisdictions.
- Policy, Compliance & Systems: Own and enhance People policies, procedures and governance in line with local legislation and regulatory requirements. Act as HRIS subject matter expert, ensuring data integrity, process optimisation and strong reporting capability.
- Payroll, Benefits & Vendors: Oversee monthly payroll delivery with outsourced providers across multiple jurisdictions. Manage benefits administration and key third‑party HR vendor relationships.
- Projects & People Strategy: Lead People Operations and Talent projects that improve scalability, employee experience and service delivery. Support delivery of the wider regional People strategy.
- 2–3+ years’ experience in a similar People/HR Operations role, including proven people management experience.
- Strong knowledge of People Operations, employee lifecycle processes, HR systems and HR policies.
- Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to align People Operations decisions to wider business objectives.
- Payroll experience is essential, with confidence managing payroll processes accurately and efficiently.
- Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders, confidently handling complex situations and providing appropriate challenge.
- Strong Excel skills are essential, with the ability to analyse data, spot trends and provide actionable insights.
- Experience across multiple regions or jurisdictions is desirable.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, effectively managing shifting priorities and changing business needs.
- Hands‑on, detail‑focused, and committed to high‑quality delivery.
