As an Intern at Interpath, you will have the chance to support our consultants across various sectors, gaining valuable insights and developing a broad commercial awareness and understanding of the challenges facing businesses today. Our internship programme is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, allowing you to contribute to real projects, gather structured feedback, and learn from experienced professionals. A mentor will be assigned to you to provide continuous support, guidance, and advice throughout.
Key AccountabilitiesThis internship offers a unique opportunity to understand the lifecycle of a business in stress/distress from our advisory work through to the formal insolvency process. It is also an excellent opportunity to develop your professional network.
Responsibilities- Support team members in data gathering and research for ongoing client projects.
- Attend client and internal meetings, taking notes and summarising actions.
- Contribute to the preparation of client/stakeholder reports, presentations, and financial analyses.
- Assist with trading and/or wind down of operations of insolvent companies.
- Attend to the statutory requirements and internal best practices of an insolvency.
- Help progress the insolvency portfolio by supporting in various tasks, including creditor adjudications.
- Interact with appointees, appointers, directors, creditors, employees, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Travel to other Interpath offices may be required.
- Currently pursuing a degree, on track to graduate Summer 2027.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrates interest in consultancy and financial services.
