Part of the Interparfums group founded in 1982, Interparfums USA develops, manufactures and distributes prestige perfumes and cosmetics as the exclusive worldwide licensee for Abercrombie & Fitch, Anna Sui, DKNY, Donna Karan, Graff, GUESS, Hollister, MCM, Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo and Ungaro. Through its global distribution network, the Company’s products are sold in over 120 countries.
The Area Manager will contribute to the overall performance of the region by developing Europe distributors and markets, driving the sell-out with key international chains, and creating new opportunities for Interparfums USA brands.
We are seeking an individual with a sales background in the Beauty or Luxury Goods industry, with a proven track record of driving growth for European markets and managing large revenue/volume in a multi-brand environment. This position is based in our London, UK office from Mondays-Thursdays, and remote on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Sales Export Director in daily commercial tasks
- Purchase plan tracking, validation and orders monitoring
- Manage stock levels, forecasts, and pricing under supervision
- Forecasts computing and analysis: challenge clients, estimate budget
- Prepare internal reporting for launch plans, activations tracking and analysis, and sell-in/sell-out by brand/market.
- Collaborate with markets and marketing teams on launches, promotions, media and PR plans
- Visit key markets to assess brand positioning, execution of launches/promotions, stock levels, and competitive landscape, providing insights and recommendations
- Build strong relationships with local teams and Beauty Advisors through training and incentive programs
- Develop and implement local tactical action plans, including promotions and events
- Execute trade plans, follow POSM developments, visuals, and coordinate with marketing and retailers
- Identify new distribution and brand expansion opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- 3+ years of export sales experience in the beauty or luxury goods industry, with a track record of driving growth in European markets
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to take initiative
- Strong analytical skills with a business-oriented mindset and keen attention to detail
- Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Able to travel internationally (up to 30%)
- Fluent in English; French or another language is a plus
