Interocean is seeking a motivated Scots law graduate to join our in-house legal and commercial team as a trainee solicitor. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the offshore energy and marine services sector, working closely with experienced legal counsel and commercial managers.
What You'll Do
- Cover core legal activities in commercial contracts, procurement, compliance, and regulatory work
- Draft and review contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and internal policies
- Support and observe commercial negotiations with clients, suppliers, and partners
- Conduct legal research and provide advice on contract clauses and regulatory developments
- Participate in cross‑departmental projects (HR, Finance, Operations)
- Attend business strategy meetings and gain commercial and financial awareness
- Complete mandatory ethics and compliance training (including AML)
- Maintain a PEAT 2 record with evidence mapped to all outcome areas
