We are seeking an experienced and motivated Survey and Subsea Manager to lead and manage our offshore survey and subsea operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong Geophysical and Offshore Positioning background and a proven track record in coordinating and delivering complex offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage survey and positioning operations across multiple offshore projects
  • Oversee the planning and execution of offshore survey projects
  • Provide technical leadership to project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures
  • Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including but not limited to survey reports, method statements, and risk assessments
  • Support the development and integration of new technologies and survey techniques
  • Tender preparation and review
  • Departmental financial reporting and budget management

Requirements

  • Degree in Hydrographic Survey, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in offshore survey and/or subsea operations
  • Strong technical knowledge in seabed mapping, acoustic positioning and surface positioning techniques
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and project coordination abilities
  • Strong experience with offshore survey techniques and equipment
  • Eligible to reside and work in the UK

Desirable

  • Knowledge of HSE practices in offshore environments
  • Chartered status or working towards chartership is an advantage
  • Experience in business development
  • Experience of budget management and cost control
  • Experience of tender preparation and support
