Position: Website Designer – Central London. Salary: Voluntary (Travel expenses paid and lunch provided).

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop visually appealing, user‑friendly, responsive websites.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to understand needs and requirements.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes to present to clients for feedback and approval.
  • Develop website layouts, navigation, and user interface elements.
  • Write clean and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Test and troubleshoot website functionality and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
  • Optimize website performance and ensure it is SEO‑friendly.
  • Stay updated with the latest web design trends and techniques.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing websites.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Website Designer or similar role.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web design tools.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
  • Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and time‑management skills.
  • A portfolio of previous web design projects is a plus.
