This role involves 5 shifts per week, 8:00 am–3:00 pm or 3:00 pm–10:00 pm, with a mix of duties as described below.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing breakfast, including greeting and helping guests at breakfast (morning shift only).
  • Cleaning up after breakfast; cleaning the lounge, kitchen, and garden (not rooms or bathrooms, which are handled by housekeepers).
  • Running the linen cycle (washing, drying, and folding bed linen).
  • After cleaning, assisting the main receptionist with showing guests to rooms and related duties.

  • Accommodation in a dorm and use of laundry facilities to wash and dry clothes and bed linen.
  • Free breakfast and free dinner (dinner cooked once per week).
  • WiFi provided.
  • Free food available at other times to cook lunch or snacks.
  • Basic food staples available (bread, milk, pasta, rice, etc.).
  • If anything else is needed or ordered, it will be provided if reasonable and basic.

Duration

Minimum stay is 3 months; maximum is 1 year.
