We are looking for someone to manage and grow our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok channels to use them as tools to build our brand and grow our school by enlarging our pool of students, parents and carers.
Main Functions
- Generate interest, traffic and engagement with our website https://www.espd.school/ and our social media channels.
- Use social media as a tool to increase tutorial bookings made by parents/guardians and students over 18 with GCSE and A Level tutors at ESPD.
- Use social media to develop and promote ESPD as the preeminent brand in tutoring.
- Ensure all posts and communication are suitable for our target audiences (students, parents/guardians and teachers) and consistent with the ethos and values of a school.
Responsibilities and Functions
- Liaising with the Director to plan and create posts.
- Posting Monday through Thursday 6-7pm.
- Commenting, liking and engaging with appropriate channels on our social media platforms.
- Growing our base of followers on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok.
- Increasing likes, comments and shares (overall engagement) on our posts.
- Join appropriate groups where business opportunities exist and promptly seize business opportunities when they arise within these groups.
- Extract short videos from our extended YouTube videos that can be posted on social media.
- Suggest ideas, initiatives and strategies to the Director about how social media can be used to generate business, widen our reach and expand our pool of students, parents and carers.
Minimum Intern Requirements
The successful intern will be responsible for growing our social media channels, so he/she must have excellent experience of using these portals and understand how to best use them to grow our school. The intern must be ready to post at the times stated above and be generally ready to respond to business opportunities. The Social Media Specialist must be trustworthy, organised and respectful. We are looking for someone with a good work ethic who is willing to co-operate, meet targets and who is demonstrably committed to our school.
Compensation / Benefits Offered
We will pay £30 per month to cover expenses such as data and take pride in giving deserving young people outstanding references and recommendation letters to help them with the next phase in their lives. The position offers a supportive and positive placement, with opportunity to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
