Purpose of Job: Secure business objectives according to GS strategic growth and Business Plan. Develop high potential business partners meeting the needs of business and customers today and in the future. Aim for the wished position of being the preferred business partner for connecting the right people of diversity to enterprises, contributing to create GS financial and successful growth reaching more and more people. This position will be an unpaid (but travel expenses will be covered) internship / placement that will last minimum of 6 months.
Reporting to: Founder & CEO. Start date: ASAP.
Main Assignment:
- Handling all our internal and external commercial stakeholders.
- Research and market commercial opportunities for long-term growth.
- Responsible for communication between enterprises (low volume and SME) and GS via newsletters, phone calls, e-mails and live meetings.
- Research and identify relevant funding sources to apply to (e.g University, Foundations).
- Writing and editing materials for business development: collaboratively funded projects, partnerships, market research, case studies.
Competences Needed:
- Strong written ability in persuasive writing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work well within teams.
- Commercial and sales approach as a way of thinking.
- Good knowledge in building & evaluating fact-based biz cases.
- An early adopter in terms of change, who acts as a change-driver.
- Determined and results driven.
